Meeting Venue

The meeting will take place in the Paul Ehrlich Auditorium (Paul Ehrlich Hörsaal), Virchowweg 4, Charité Campus Mitte (CCM), 10 117 Berlin. Registration, Industrial Exhibition, Poster Sessions, Coffee and Lunch Breaks, Welcome Reception will take place in the Atrium of the CCO Building (Virchowweg 6, CCM).

The nearest S- and U-Bahn stations for Campus Charité Mitte are: S+U-Friedrichstrasse, S-Hauptbahnhof, S-Nordbahnhof, U-Oranienburger Tor and U-Naturkundemuseum.

Getting there

From Berlin Hauptbahnhof. We suggest you to take a walk as the Charité Mitte Campus is only a 10-min walk (see map below). Alternatively, you can take a Tram (M10, M8, M5) or a Bus (TXL, 142) 1 stop to Invalidenpark. From there it is a 9-min walk. Tickets can be bought in the tram or with a bus driver (Short Trip, 1.60 EUR).

From Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL). From the arriving terminal please follow the bus signs. Please take the TXL line that takes you to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (5 stops) or Invalidenpark (6 stops). From there please follow the instructions above and see the map. Tickets can be bought on BVG machines (Einzehlticket, Berlin AB, 2.80 EUR). Taxi fare (Taxi Berlin) costs are around 20-25 EUR.

From Berlin-Schönefeld Airport (SFX). From the arriving terminal please follow instructions to the railway station. Please take S9 (direction Spandau), RE7 (Direction Dessau Hbf) or RB14 (Direction Nauen) Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Tickets can be bought on Deutsche Bahn (DB) machines (Berlin ABC, 3.40 EUR). RE trains run twice every hour and the journey time is 30 min. S-Bahn trains run every 10 minutes and the journey ride is around 50 min.  Taxi fare (Taxi Berlin) costs are around 50 EUR.

Arriving by car. If you are arriving by car follow the navigation instructions for Charitéplatz 1, 10 117 Berlin. Please note that there are no parking spots available on the Campus ground.

Accommodation

Please note that the accommodation is NOT included in the registration fee. However, we have blocked rooms in the following Hotel:

1. Hotel Motel One Berlin-Hauptbahnhof, Invalidenstrasse 54, 10557 Berlin (https://www.motel-one.com/de/hotels/berlin/hotel-berlin-hauptbahnhof/). 10 min walking distance to the Campus. Single Room for 90,50 EUR per night; double room for 117,00 EUR per night, incl. breakfast. Room will be held for conference attendees until 26th of July. After this day, non-reserved room will be offered to public.

Please fill out the form to complete your reservation and send it back to Motel One (german form, English form).

2. IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof, Katharina Paulus Straße 5, 10 557 Berlin (www.intercityhotel.com, http://www.intercityhotel.com). 10 min walking distance to the Campus. Single Room for 99,00 EUR per night; double room for 119,00 EUR per night, incl. breakfast and public transport card. Rooms will be held for conference attendees until June 28th, 2020, i.e. July 12th, 2020. After this day, 50%, i.e. 100% of non-reserved room will be offered to public.

Cancellation of the hotel has to be done by the participant and directly with the hotel.

If you prefer a different hotel, you should take care of the reservation and we cannot assure you a reduced fee.

Cancellation of the hotel has to be done by the participant.

Please take note that the end of August in Berlin is attractive for many tourists. Book your trips and accommodation on time.
