Young Academy

The young academy meeting, which took place for the first time and with great success at the meeting in Hamburg in 2018, will also take place in the online 2021 NK Cell Symposium.

This year’s Young Academy consists of two parts:

  • First, we would like to introduce interested early-career immunologists into the work of the DGfI group Young Immunologist (YI) in general and it’s sub-group within the Research Focus Group NK cells in particular. This introduction will take place from 12:45-13:00.
  • Second,  we are happy to announce that Dr. Maren Büttner from the Institute of Computational Biology in Munich will give an invited lecture with the title „Computational challenges in single-cell profiling„. Her talk is aimed to give an introduction into experimental and computational approaches in single-cell RNA sequencing. The lecture will take place from 13:00-13:45.

Please note that although the Young Academy is part of the program of the 2021 NK Cell Symposium, it is taking place in a separate Zoom meeting. Registration for the Young Academy is separate from the 2021 NK Cell Symposium. You can register here.
